Cora’s new sales and marketing dream duo Aletta and Sam have made great strides since recently joining the business.

The pair are the latest additions to our team, with Sam Starling taking on the role as our Head of Marketing while Aletta Fendick is now our Head of Sales.

Both have seen an incredibly successful start to their Cora career, bringing with them years of industry experience.

They have been working closely at our Stoche Acre, Old Sawmill and Lancaster Gate developments, driving sales and raising awareness of our sustainability message.

Sam, who has previously worked for two other Midlands developers as Marketing Manager, said: “I am absolutely loving life at Cora so far. It has been a really exciting challenge.

“Every day is different – one day you could be working on a site speaking to customers, the next designing brochures or creating content for the website. It is such a varied role.

“Moving to Cora has been a great choice for my career and I’m happy to have had the opportunity to join such a forward thinking company.

“I’ve worked with Aletta in a previous role and she’s such a great person to be around. She brings so much dynamism to the team.”

Aletta, originally from Pretoria in South Africa, was also headhunted by our senior leadership team, who identified her strengths in sales while working as a Partner at a national property services company.

She said: “I love the ethos of the company – it makes me think of my beloved Springboks.

“You aren’t just playing for a team, you’re playing for something much bigger. And it’s the same mindset here at Cora – we are united in building for the future with the amazing places we create.

“I wanted a role where I could make a difference, where I could implement my own ideas. I’ve definitely found that here at Cora.

“Working with Sam again is fantastic. She is the ying to my yang – we both bring different skills and ideas to the table and work together so well.”

Away from work, Sam loves spending time with her family and border collies Teddy and Amber, while former publican Aletta enjoys exploring the countryside with her loved ones and Labrador, Gunner.
