Cora are proud to partner with carbon solutions company Auditel as we continue on our journey to achieving net zero status.

Our work with Auditel will help us make effective and informed decisions that have a positive benefit on both our operations and the environment.

We have already committed to becoming a net zero business by 2050, with a goal also set to halve our emissions by 2030 as we continue to adapt the way we operate.

“We are determined to create a lasting legacy and demonstrate best-in-class environmental stewardship in the housebuilding sector. We put sustainability at the heart of our mindset.”

Changes we have already made include switching to solar energy to power our compounds, while allocating procurement preferences to small businesses within a 50-mile radius of our sites through our Grow Local programme.

We have also planted more than 9,000 trees and shrubs across our sites to support nature and absorb more carbon.

We continue to visit schools local to our developments to teach children about how they can live more eco-friendly lifestyles and reduce their carbon footprint.

That work has seen us win numerous awards, including the Just Transition Award at the Edie Net-Zero Awards and Gold in the Sustainability category at the SME Northamptonshire Business Awards.
