Cora – the new name in excellent homes
We are delighted to announce that, following an extensive re-brand process, Barwood Homes will now be known as Cora. The name change comes as our company looks to the future, creating a more people-centric brand that better reflects our values. The new name derives from the word ‘Chorus’, echoing who we are as a company – a group of people working in harmony.

Since Barwood Homes was founded in 2010, we have been delivering high-quality homes across Buckinghamshire, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire and Staffordshire, while giving our clients a great customer experience.
“Delivering excellent homes has always been at the heart of everything we do – and that will remain our top priority as we move forward as Cora. Although the company’s name has changed, its dedication to delivering excellent homes and customer service has not. Although we have been building excellent homes since we were formed, the company has grown and evolved since we were first established.
As Cora, we will continue to deliver on our promises of quality and excellence but will build upon these values as the company moves forward. Our work will be complimented by our new Sustainable Building Framework, and our focus will also be on protecting the environment and working within our communities.”
Our colleagues, partners, suppliers and stakeholders are crucial to our success and they have been reassured the name change will not affect their work or the management structure of the company. All current contracts and orders will remain and there are no changes to any terms and conditions. For customers, ongoing purchases will not be affected so please do continue to liaise with us as you have been doing. This change does not affect us operationally – it is business as usual.
